The lesson “Learning How to Do Research” teaches children the basic steps to performing research. The children will compose a research question that can be answered through local sources, list possible research sources, develop a plan to access the sources, and then explain what scripture has to say about the research question. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 9-11 years, and is the 10th lesson in the 1st Year “Research Project” unit.
