The lesson “Learning a Local Craft - Skill - Part 3” gives children even more opportunity to view, practice, and master a local craft or skill. They will practice honing in on manual dexterity techniques, as well as learn about cultural practices and traditions from the craft that is learned. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 9-11 years, and is the 36th lesson in a three-part series in the 1st Year “Local Craft - Skill” unit.
