The lesson “Abraham’s Test” teaches children about the story of Abraham and Sarah and that God always provided for Abraham. Each child will name at least three ways God provides for him or her and express his or her trust in God through prayer. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the tenth lesson in the 1st Year Core Curriculum and part of the “God’s Special People” unit.
