The lesson “Identity in Christ” teaches children about the attributes of Christ and how to look for those characteristics in their own lives. Children learn how to define the word ‘identity,’ are able to name three characteristics that are part of their identity, and verbalize at least three characteristics of Christ they would like to be a part of their identity. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the first lesson in the 2nd Year “Self-Awareness” unit.
