The lesson “Develops the Godly Character of Cheerfulness” teaches children more about managing their own emotions and the benefits of demonstrating a cheerful attitude. Children learn strategies to employ and actions to take which result in a cheerful disposition despite unwanted circumstances. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 30th lesson in the 1st Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “Emotional Development” unit.
