The lesson “Art from Recycling Materials” is part 38 of a 46 part series on human development, the human body, health, and safety. This lesson encourages the children to make art out of items that would otherwise be trash. This resource includes a lesson plan for the teacher on how to prepare beforehand, class-time content to facilitate learning, hands-on activities facilitating further learning, and a teacher assessment at the end. This lesson is designed for a group of young children between the ages of 6 and 8, and is the thirty-eighth physical development lesson in the CoreCurriculum, 6-8 years, Year Two.
