The lesson “Shopping Wisely” helps to develop motivation and knowledge in children to enable them to be economically self-supporting in the future. The children will learn and define at least two principles of how to shop wisely and manage a budget. Each child will have the opportunity to apply these principles through shopping in an imaginary store. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 34th lesson in the 1st Year “Real-Life Problem Solving Skills” unit.
