The lesson “The Cross and Character (The Roof)” teaches children simple theological concepts with the goal of the children demonstrating commitment to the Lordship of Christ. The children learn to explain how the Cross is the key to restoring all the relationships on earth and learn to define the word ‘virtue’ as “being like God.” Each child will name some virtues he or she would like to have in his or her life. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 7th lesson in the 7 lesson series, “Christian Worldview.”
