The Survival & Early Childhood Global Resource Curriculum (GRC) contains 29 additional Group Activity lesson plans, covering a variety of topics. Those implementing the program can substitute core lesson plans with any of these additional lessons or simply hold extra meetings each month to cover them. As with the additional home visit lessons, many of the group activities focus on specific topics, such as disease/injury prevention, service opportunities, special needs children, savings and micro-enterprise, small business development and local resources.

Note: The language in these lessons primarily references mothers as the caregiver. However, the content applies to any primary caregiver – father, grandmother, guardian, etc. Feel free to tweak the language to fit your context as appropriate.
