The lesson “Predicting Events” gives children the opportunity to complete an activity that models the risks of making decisions based on chance. They will each identify at least two examples from everyday life when people need to make decisions based on probability or chance. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 26th lesson in the 1st Year “Real-Life Problem Solving” unit.
