The curriculum, “Child Protection Curriculum Module - Child Development Workers” is designed to approach the difficult subject of child abuse with care and tact, while equipping child development workers with the necessary resources to protect children. The guide is contextualized for Africa, and includes biblically based activities, assessments, and evaluations for 16 topics related to child protection. Topics vary but include child protection, child abuse, preventing abuse, communication sensitivity, confidentiality, transparency, and conflict management. By utilizing the resources within this curriculum, child development workers will be well trained to protect and service children.
