The SYB program of the ILO is a management training program with a worldwide outreach. Overall, its chief goal and focus is on starting and improving small businesses as a strategy for creating more and better employment for women, men and youth particularly in developing economies. It is comprised of four interrelated packages: Generate Your Business Idea (GYB), Start Your Business (SYB), Improve Your Business (IYB) and Expand Your Business (EYB). As part of the AIM initiative, Compassion International (CI) is working to both adapt the first two packages, GYB and SYB, and become an institutional member of the ILO.
